With over 10,000 second-hand books to choose from you are bound to find something to suit you @sueanddaves. From classics to chic-lit, from Archer to Zola or from gardening to politics we have a very large and varied collection including a fantastic children's section.

We do buy locally but we also ship from the U.K. and so a lot of our books are not usually found in this country.

We pride ourselves on the condition of our books and we always try to be fair and reasonable in our pricing.

And you don't necessarily need to visit us to buy our books (although we'd love to see you). The majority of our books are here in Onrus but we also have a large selection for sale at the fabulous Swellendam Art Gallery and a smaller number at Haven's Door in Fisherhaven. We are also building a reliable reputation selling on the net to customers all over South Africa through BidorBuy .

We keep a detailed and comprehensive database of all our books and so can always tell you what we have in stock. We are also more than happy to try to source books for our customers or just keep a record of your preferences and give you a call when something of interest comes in.
